More Babies!

Okay, I know some of you have been waiting to see the newest baby parakeets, so here is a video of them in the nextbox. The blue one is the mama, trying to cover them up. One egg of the 9 in there didn't hatch, as of the date of filming. But because there were so many eggs, some of the babies are just about to leave the nest, while some are still partly naked, waiting for feathers!

See?

I saw a glimpse of feathers, then it was all black, then a flash of an arm lifting a box, then more black. Are my eyes failing?

That's a lot of birds, Jen-are you keeping them all?

Hmm, Janet - other people have said it's too dark to see them, too - maybe my computer is showing it with more brightness or something...
Yes, we're keeping all of the babies.
We have a nice big triple-tiered flight cage setup that I'm preparing for them. :-)
